FTA and the US DOT Volpe Center are undertaking a multi-year effort to evaluate the TAM program, and TAM implementation. The purpose of the evaluation is to better understand how the TAM rule has impacted transit agencies practice of transit system management and operations, as well as any impacts to the national transit SGR backlog.

Save the dates! FTA will be hosting two TAM Roundtable events in 2019:July 16-18, 2019 in Baltimore, MD and September 4-5, 2019 in St. Louis, MO.
FTA hosted a Transit Asset Management (TAM) peer exchange on June 6-7, 2018 in Chicago, IL. The purpose of the peer exchange was to bring together three transit agencies from around the country to discuss their draft TAM plans, one of the central requirements of TAM Rule.
